These general Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings with Fjord Resort, including but not limited to Wangen Apartments, Flåm Station Apartments, and Aurland Guesthouse, hereinafter referred to as “Fjord Resort.” Fjord Resort is operated by Wangen Apartments AS, organization number 928 103 889.
These Terms are binding for all parties, whether booking directly or through a third party, who enter into an agreement with Fjord Resort as specified in your booking confirmation. Your reservation is considered confirmed upon receipt of a confirmation that includes a valid reservation number.
Cancellations and/or changes
Individual Bookings (1 or 2 units)
Fjord Resort allows changes/cancellations up to 72 hours before arrival, with full refunds before the deadline. No refunds are available for changes or cancellations made after the deadline.
Group Bookings (3 units or more)

Responsibility, payment & security
Your reservation becomes binding when you receive a booking confirmation along with an assigned booking number after payment. We ensure secure payment transactions through our web portals, promptly addressing any payment issues, including credit card matters. Our trusted partner, Nets Easy, manages your credit card information in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), ensuring its safety. Your name and contact information are accessible only to us and the specific service providers.
Please note, it’s your responsibility to verify the accuracy of arrival and departure dates and other essential booking details. Additionally, when using the currency converter during booking, the displayed values in other currencies are for reference only. Your actual debit will always be in the local currency (NOK).

Guest obligations
We strongly recommend that our guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected situations like illness, accidents, or luggage loss. To ensure a pleasant and trouble-free stay, guests are required to follow our rules and instructions. They are also financially liable for any damages they cause. Disruptive or damaging behavior may result in denial of access or expulsion without refunds. Reservations with Fjord Resort require guests to be at least 18 years old, with the possibility of identification verification.
If a guest has concerns about the accommodation upon arrival or during their stay, we encourage them to promptly contact our Fjord Resort reception, either in person or via telephone/email. We are committed to addressing any issues swiftly. However, please be aware that we cannot provide financial compensation for complaints raised upon departure or afterward.
Special accommodation terms
To book our apartments and rooms, the minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
Check-in time is from 3 pm (15:00), and check-out must be completed by 10 am (10:00).
Kindly note that smoking is strictly prohibited indoors and on the balconies. A fine of NOK 2500 will be imposed for violations of this policy.
Certain units/rooms may allow pets, and an additional charge may apply. Contact us directly for more information.
Between 11 pm (23:00) and 7 am (07:00), we kindly request all guests to be considerate and maintain a noise-free environment.
Please ensure all trash is placed in the bins and start the dishwasher before checking out. An extra fee may be added if the apartment requires additional cleaning due to excessive mess.
Our partners
Fjord Resort handles payments to our partners for the products and services you book through us. Each partner is responsible for delivering their specific offerings, including insurance, permissions, equipment, staff, and compliance with regulations. Age limits and pricing are set by each partner.
Force Majeure
We acknowledge that unexpected situations, such as adverse weather conditions or facility closures, may arise beyond our control. In these instances, we reserve the right to make changes to product descriptions, technical specifications, and pricing as necessary due to our suppliers’ adjustments. Fjord Resort also retains the discretion to cancel or modify reservations should misinterpretations or price changes occur. Your understanding in such cases is greatly appreciated.
